CREASED DENTS
A creased dent is caused by a 'rubbing' or 'grazing' type of impact resulting in a line or long depression in the affected panel. Typical incidents include contact from adjacent vehicle bumpers or the peddles and handlebars of bicycles and scooters.
These sharp creases in a front wing were probably caused by the pedals of a bicycle. As the owner did not want the car filling and spraying or the inconvenience of having to leave his car at a body shop, PDR techniques were used. The creases were subsequently removed, at the owner's home, for a fraction of the original body shop quotation.
